Wes Taepont is a song about a fictional cajun character named Wes, who represents the idea of life's freedom pre-conception, and the return to that freedom after death, once again outside the bounds of encarnation. It is also just a jammin tune. :)
lyrics
Stop!
Wes Taepont, Wes Taepont, He come from way down south.
Wes Taepont, Wes travels by word of mouth.
He’s the son of a dream,
A legend that screams of the freer way,
He can fly as you flew,
And he will be you again someday.
Wes Taepont, Wes Taepont, the glare offa your smile.
Wes Taepont, I’ll be you, oh, in a little while.
Wes Taepont, Taepont, do me like you did,
(I say) Wes Taepont, Oh yeah, yeah, as a little kid.
He’s the son of a dream,
A legend that screams of the freer way,
He can fly as you flew,
And he will be you again someday.
(Bridge) Wes taepont...Yeah yeah yeah!
He’s the son of a dream,
A legend that screams of the freer way,
He can fly as you flew,
And he will be you again someday.
He’s the son of a dream,
A legend that screams of the freer way,
He can fly as you flew,
And he will be you again someday...
